Confusing Logging Policy
Most VPN services say that they have a no logging policy, but in many cases, it turns out to be misleading. That is the case with X-VPN. On its homepage, X-VPN states that it does not collect information, but, when you read its privacy policy things become somewhat confusing.
It says that it does not keep logs, but it shares information if a court orders it to do so. The policy further reads on to say X-VPN store a connection timestamp, the protocol choice, and network type of each user. This information gets deleted after 96 hours. It’s not too much of a big deal, but it’s confusing.

China has tough laws when it comes to privacy, and the government could quickly force X-VPN to hand over any data with no questions asked. Luckily, X-VPN shouldn’t have too much information about you in the first place if its privacy policy is correct. But we wouldn’t rely on it to be.
