UK-headquartered global financial technology company TigerWit Limited had two major news announcements on Monday, Sept. 17. It has both launched its blockchain-based trading app and announced a new partnership with popular Premier League team Liverpool FC. The partnership could provide a high-profile association with the UK’s football scene, helping provide better brand recognition for TigerWit and increasing adoption as well.
How Will Liverpool FC Work With Tigerwit?
TigerWit is the new “Official Foreign Exchange Trading Partner of Liverpool FC” helping increase its brand visibility across the UK. The Premier League is watched and followed by football fans around the globe, which could be useful in creating a strong brand presence for the trading app.
Additionally, the improved visibility could lead to thousands, if not more, of downloads for the trading app that uses an innovative blockchain-based settlement technology for transferring funds. The platform will provide users access to the most important global markets. It allows trading in FX, indices, commodities, and metals.
TigerWit CEO Tim Hughes spoke highly of the new partnership, saying:
“TigerWit believes in a market that does not discriminate or play favorites. We have developed a pioneering blockchain-based settlement system that instills trust by delivering greater security and process efficiency. Trading should be, and can be, more transparent and fair for all traders, regardless of experience or the size of their account.”
What Can Liverpool Gain?

Through this new partnership with TigerWit, we look forward to marketing activations, which help offer our fans activities and experiences to bring them even closer to the Club.”
