The dApp ecosystem on Tron is thriving, and TronBet recently raised the stakes regarding TRX transaction volume. DappReview announced on Twitter that TronBet almost hit 1 billion in TRX volume in 24 hours. This comfortably beat a rival dApp TronDice 10.7 million transactions.
‘Amazing Milestone’ Reached for TRONbet
DappReview in an announcement on Twitter wrote:
“An amazing milestone for @TRONbet !!! Nearly 1 BILLION #TRX volume over last 24 hours And 13 MILLION #TRX dividends in ONE DAY If you hold 18k ANTE, you’ll get 10K #TRX every day.”
TronBet has the second highest number of users on the Tron dApp list. TronDice holds the first position marginally. However, the difference in the transaction volumes of the two applications is staggering.
For instance, TronDice has 2,211 users, and its 24-hour volume was 10,791,247. Whereas TronBet has 2,195 users, but its 24-hour volume was 993,909,578.2.
Is Tron the New King of Dapps?
Tron boasts of scalability and better TPS, which has caused some games based on Ethereum like Blockchain Cuties and Bitzens to make a switch recently to Tron.
This has given Tron increased confidence. In fact, its founder Justin Sun illustrated this when he tweeted recently that:
“#TRON will build a fund to rescue #ETH and #EOS developers from the collapse of their platform as long as those developers migrate their dApps to #TRON. #TRX $TRX”
Some hailed his tweet while others ridiculed it. Some believe that this kind of statement will create a division within the crypto community.
EOS supporters were especially irked by the comments and EOS New York suggested that it had billions of dollars in VC money to back up its projects.
Tron also recently launched a $1 million accelerator program to help dApp developers as well.
