VPN 360 states that you’ll be able to protect your privacy, hide your physical address, and secure your internet activity.

It goes on to say that you can also stream on any social, music, or video platform.

Sounds great right?

Let’s see if it can live up to its excellent first impression.

Understanding VPN 360

First of all, VPN 360 does not have a desktop client, it is a mobile app that works with Android and iOS only. To get this app, you need to download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

That should immediately raise a red flag. Downloading the app will mean that your app store account gets linked to the purchase of that VPN. If you are super conscious about your privacy and you want to make sure that no one can trace you, you will want to consider using a different VPN service.

VPN 360 Pricing

VPN 360 advertises itself as a free app, which it is not. You get a 7-day free trial when you download the app, but all the services are not free. It is also not cheap. We compare the pricing of VPN 360 with that of NordVPN. The problem is, NordVPN offers way more than VPN 360, and it also has a desktop client.

On the bright side, if you elect to pay 12 months in advance, it will cost you $34.99 as a one-time payment, which works out to around $2.90 per month.

Not bad.

Overall, the price is not super high, but we would expect much cheaper from a mobile-only VPN.

What We Like About VPN 360

We’ve been critical of VPN 360, so it’s time to tell you everything we like about the app. Overall, it’s a great app that offers standard encryption and security. Here are the best features of VPN 360.

Great Speeds

Everyone expects to take a hit when they are using a VPN service. The internet connection on your computer or phone will never be as fast, and we understand that. We were pleasantly surprised to find that VPN 360 has some of the best download speeds we have ever seen.

Great Speeds

During our research, we found users experiencing speeds of around 50-80 Mbps, which is above average. If you are using this VPN to stream videos or download files, you should have no problem doing that at optimal speed.

Easy to Use App

VPNs also have a reputation for being old and clunky looking.

Usually, they are.

With VPN 360, you’ll find the interface is fresh and new looking. It’s highly responsive and straightforward to use for people with varying technical knowledge.

Connecting to a server is as simple as pressing the on/off button. There is a menu in the top right where you can play around with your account, settings, and read different policies.

Simple Sign-up

Signing up for VPN 360 is a bit of a double-edged sword. When you download the app and use the free trial, you don’t have to worry about entering any information. Since you don’t have to sign up, it won’t have the chance to gather any data from you.

But, once you upgrade to a paid version, the payment is linked to the account you use in the app store. Therefore, there is a clear link between your identity and the use of this VPN.

What We Dislike About VPN 360

Now that we covered everything we like about VPN 360, it’s time to hit you with some bad news. There are a lot of faults to this service, so let’s take a look at some of them.

Low Server Count

One of the most important things to think about when shopping for a VPN is the number of servers it offers. VPN 360 offers less than ten, which is excruciatingly low. We’re surprised that it can provide such high speeds with a low server portfolio.

No Netflix

When a VPN has such a small amount of servers, you typically expect Netflix to be a no-go. That stands true for VPN 360. Across all the servers available, we were unable to find a case where Netflix access wasn’t denied by the dreaded error message. Hopefully, VPN 360 can expand its server list in the future.

No Torrents

As you can probably expect. If Netflix doesn’t work, torrenting most likely will not either. Torrenting is not popular on mobile, to begin with, and without a desktop app, you won’t have easy access to BitTorrent. VPN 360 doesn’t even mention torrenting in its list of policies.

Bad Logging Policy

The most significant issue we had with VPN 360 is its logging policy. Its privacy policy states that it will give your information to authorities when prompted to do so. It also states many limited exceptions where it will collect and forfeit your data. Overall, we don’t like or trust this policy, especially as VPN 360 is a paid service.

Our Verdict

Who is VPN 360 for? This VPN could be useful to people who are concerned about privacy and security when using public Wi-Fi. However, if you are looking for serious encryption, protocols, and all-around data protection, there are many better alternatives.

The app is easy to use and download, and the speeds are more than acceptable, but you can’t bank on VPN 360 having your back when the authorities come knocking.

All the top vpns have great mobile apps, dont get this when you could get PIA, Nordvpn, Surfshark, Expressvpn and others.
